We are excited to announce that the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD Teacher Job Fair is open to applicants interested in becoming a teacher in HEB ISD for the 2023-2024 school year!
Saturday, March 25, 2023 – 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Two locations
- Elementary candidates: Pat May Center, 1849B Central Drive, Bedford, TX 76022
- Secondary candidates: Gene A. Buinger Career and Technology Academy 1849 E Central Drive, Bedford, TX 76022
Interested in attending the Teacher Job Fair?
To be considered for an invite, please complete our short Teacher Job Fair Interest Form. Applicants must meet the State Board of Educator Certification requirement and one of the following criteria:
- Be certified to teach in your area of interest;
- Be accepted in an alternative certification program; or
- Anticipate teacher certification by May 2023.
Our Human Resources team will follow up with quality candidates who complete the Teacher Job Fair Interest Form to invite them to complete the formal Teacher Job Fair application, which will allow them to be considered for on-site interviews and be eligible for expedited hiring. All invitations will be sent out no later than March 10, 2023, to the email provided in the Teacher Job Fair Interest Form.
What to expect
Principals and staff from each building will be on site ready to talk with candidates for teaching positions in our schools. In addition, department leaders will be available to answer questions related to our special programs. Candidates will be able to mingle with current staff, learn more about HEB ISD and get their questions answered.
Highly qualified candidates may be asked for on-the-spot interviews, which will take place in our designated interview area, while other interviews will be scheduled for the future. Job offers will not be extended to applicants during the Teacher Job Fair, however, a principal may submit a Request to Hire to the Human Resources Department as early as March 28, 2023.
